The Mohammed Bin Rashid School of Government is pleased to be hosting the inaugural edition of the Global Conference on Economic Diversification (GCED) on the 31st of October 2024 in Dubai, UAE. The conference has already received high quality research and policy paper submissions and will see high-level participation from policymakers in the region, presentations and discussions by the academic and research community, experts from intergovernmental organizations (IMF, UNCTAD etc.) and top universities globally. The conference will involve panel discussions, roundtables, and presentations of accepted research papers related to the topic of economic diversification, a topic of great strategic importance the GCC region.
